About me

Building AI systems that can understand, reason and communicate.

I am a computer scientist interested in understanding how we can build AI systems that combine language, perception and reasoning. My research has evolved from intelligent environments and autonomous systems towards language-centric and multimodal artificial intelligence.

My current work explores how large models acquire and use knowledge, how they reason over multimodal information, and how we can make them more capable, reliable and useful across languages and domains.

I am a member of the HiTZ Basque Center for Language Technology and the IXA research group at UPV/EHU.
